The germ of the idea which was to become the Bravado Designs Nursing Bra began to grow in 1991, when Denyse Karn and Shery Leeder found themselves commiserating over the apparent absence of a nursing bra which was stylish, comfortable, practical and affordable. Denyse was an experienced designer currently breastfeeding her second child, and Shery was a mother of one who had spent years in the infant and maternity retail sector. They struck upon the idea of combining their talents to produce the Bravado Designs Bra; a bra which now garners rave reviews from others and health care professionals alike.
